În perioada 14-15.11.2012, o delegaţie compusă din reprezentanţi ANITP şi ai ONG a participat la o vizită de lucru organizată în oraşele Zürich şi Berna, în cadrul proiectului „(P)revention, (I)dentification, (P)rotection” pe care ANITP îl implementează în prezent, în baza contractului de finanţare încheiat la data de 26 aprilie 2012 între Organismul Intermediar Elveţian şi Agenţia Naţională împotriva Traficului de Persoane.
Scopul activităţii a fost cunoaşterea sistemului anti-trafic din Elveţia în vederea utilizării acestor cunoştinţe şi bune practici în propria activitate profesională.
Cu această ocazie, reprezentanţii delegaţiei române au efectuat vizite la sediile Unităţii de Combatere a Traficului de Persoane – Poliţia din Zürich, Unităţii de Coordonare împotriva Traficului de Persoane şi Migranţi din cadrul Poliţiei Federale Elveţiene, Oficiul pentru Străini Berna, Organizaţia Internaţională pentru Migraţie şi ONG FIZ, unde au fost informaţi cu privire la rolul acestor instituţii, situaţia curentă a traficului de persoane din Elveţia, procedura de identificare a victimelor traficului de persoane, asistenţa acordată acestora, precum şi cooperarea cu ceilalţi actori implicaţi.
Pe parcursul evenimentului, cu sprijinul ataşatului de afaceri interne al României, reprezentanţii ANITP au avut o întâlnire bilaterală cu responsabilul gestionării contribuţiei financiare elveţiene, din partea Ministerului de Externe, pentru a identifica oportunităţi de finanţare în domeniul luptei împotriva traficului de persoane. Au fost astfel identificate fonduri disponibile pentru a finanţa activităţi anti-trafic, reprezentanţii ANITP urmând a prezenta propunerile de proiect şefului Unităţii de Coordonare împotriva Traficului de Persoane şi Migranţi din cadrul Poliţiei Federale.”
„Between 14th – 15th of November 2012, a Romanian delegation composed of ANITP and NGO’s representatives participated in a study visit organized in Zürich and Bern – Switzerland within the project „(P)revention, (I)dentification, (P)rotection”, implemented by ANITP based on the financial agreement signed on 26th of April 2012 between the Swiss Intermediary Body and ANITP.
The activity aimed to reflect a better understanding of the Swiss anti-trafficking system, and subsequently, to implement the knowledge and best prectices in the experts’ professional activities.
The Romanian delegation had the opportunity to visit the headquarters of the Unit for Countering Trafficking in Human Beings – Zurich Police, the Swiss Coordination Unit against Trafficking in Persons and Smugling of Migrants, Office for Foreigners Bern, IOM and FIZ NGO, where they have received information regarding the role of these institutions, the current status of trafficking in human beings in Switzerland, the victims’ identification procedure, the assistance offered to victims and the cooperation between the actors involved.
During the event, with the support of the Romanian liaison officer, ANITP representatives had a bilateral meeting with the responsible for the Swiss Financial Contribution administration, on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to identify funding opportunities for fighting against trafficking in human beings.
The available anti-trafficking funds were identified and, in this respect, it was agreed that ANITP representatives will later present a project proposal to the Head of the Swiss Coordination Unit against Trafficking in Persons and Smugling of Migrants.
